GROW-HYDRO
is an archive of current speed and direction along
with salinity and water temperature for global locations
on a per-grid point basis. The source of GROW-HYDRO
is through the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) HYCOM
Global Reanalysis.
All
variables are provided for daily means at up to 40
depths (surface to 5000 m).
Variables include: Salinity (PSU), Water Temperature
(deg C), Current Speed (cm/s), Current Direction (deg
to), Eastward Current Velocity (cm/s), and Northward
Current Velocity (cm/s).
Standard
products include time series in ASCII format.
GROW-HYDRO
is an optional add-on for all OWI hindcast products.
